I don’t know about other military Veterans, but I can tell you my Navy Veteran husband (Billy Ray Webb) is an excellent cook.  As a matter of fact, all the Navy Veterans I know personally are great cooks.  Is this a special trait of Navy Veterans?  According to an article I located for today (National Buttercrunch Day), Military Veterans, in general, make great chefs.  I believe it.   In my opinion, a great Chef requires creativity, patience, attention to detail, and the willingness to follow instructions when relevant.  All of these are traits common with those who are serving and have served in the military.  What are your skills in cooking?
